Undergraduate Students

We consider undergraduates from all departments at UVA but expect a fundamental interest in biology and engineering principles. Preference is provided to first- or second-year students. Students who inquire should be willing in principle to commit to 10+ hours per week with our lab during the academic year until their graduation. Undergraduates will typically volunteer or work for credit during their tenure and pursue a capstone design project in their final year.
