Matteo Gionso

      Matteo is a fourth-year neurosurgery resident at Humanitas University in Milan, Italy, with research experience in clinical and preclinical focused ultrasound applications in neuro-oncology. His current roles include a research fellowship at the University of Virginia and a Graduate Research Fellow appointment at the Focused Ultrasound Foundation. His current research focuses on deploying sonodynamic therapy in preclinical models, aiming to extend its application beyond gliomas to other neuro-oncological diseases.
