Jessie Bailey

About

Jessie is a fourth-year undergraduate student majoring in biomedical engineering and minoring in data science. After graduation, she will attend the University of Virginia for graduate school with plans to earn her Master of Engineering and continue her career in industry. Her work in the Sheybani Lab is primarily focused on the use of thermally ablative FUS to enhance the efficacy of CAR-T cell treatment for breast cancer. Apart from FUS, her research interests also include leveraging computational modeling to simulate the progression of breast cancer. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, weightlifting, reading, and spending time with her family.
